Biography of Guest
Prof. Tamber-Rosenau is an assistant professor of Jewish Studies and Religious Studies at the University of Houston, as well as the director of Jewish Studies there. She is the author of the book Women in Drag: Gender and Performance in the Hebrew Bible and Early Jewish Literature, and is working on a book about time and history in the books of Esther, Daniel, Judith, and Tobit for Oxford University Press. She previously was featured as a guest on the show to discuss Wine in the Book of Judith.
