Intro
Having previously featured Professor Glenn Dynner speaking on Jewish Tavernkeepers in 18th & 19th Century Poland on the 12th episode of The Jewish Drinking Show, he returns to the show again to speak more in-depth about their lives.

Biography of Guest
Professor Dynner currently serves as Director of the Bennett Center for Jewish Studies and Chair of Judaic Studies at Fairfield University. He previously taught at Sarah Lawrence College, received a 2019-2020 Guggenheim fellowship, and received his PhD from Brandeis University in Jewish Studies. He is the author of Yankel’s Tavern: Jews, Liquor, and Life in the Kingdom of Poland.
